Our treatment program begins with a complete assessment by our highly trained staff. All of the recovery programs in our oceanfront rehab facilities are creating specifically for the individual. We understand the complex balance between work and family commitments while receiving treatment, so we will work with you to schedule counseling and activities.

BEACHFRONT ACTIVITIES AND COUNSELING

Having a waterfront drug rehab center allows us to offer unique experiences on the road to recovery. With the average temperature in the mid-70’s we are able to hold many activities right on the beach. To heal your entire body we practice yoga, exercise, and learn martial arts while enjoying the ocean breeze. We hold 12-step meetings and clinical groups, as well as provide information about reducing anxiety and steps to revitalize and restore.

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

Through our recovery program you will learn what to do when you have a craving for alcohol or drugs. We also offer insight that will help you identify what your triggers are and how to avoid them or cope with them. As a drug rehab near the ocean we offer outdoor counseling to capitalize on the soothing nature of the water. Individual, family, and couples counseling ensure that your entire family will be an integral part of your support system. We hold workshops on self-esteem, anger management, and stress management.

Our staff members are extensively trained in psychiatric and addiction medicine. They work tirelessly to assist clients in gaining the skills they need for a successful and fulfilling life. Our oceanfront drug recovery center is here to help you create a future of sobriety.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Bio

Kim comes to Galt Ocean Rehab with 9 ½ years’ experience working in the Behavioral Health field. In 2006, she began working with children and adolescents in a residential treatment center, and upon relocating to South Florida in 2011, began working with adults in treatment, many with co-occurring disorders.

Her compassion and empathy for those in need of appropriate mental health and substance abuse treatment led her on a journey that was far removed from her years of banking and management experience. Believing that recovery begins when a person is ready to make changes in their life, it’s important that they have the tools necessary to succeed. This includes having their most basic needs met – food, clothing and shelter –without this foundation, it’s very difficult to continue to move forward.

Kim earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Youngstown State University and recently received her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
